    Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities

    Visit the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities, a state agency helping Floridians with developmental disabilities, for information on programs offered.

    Florida Supportive Housing Coalition

    The Florida Supportive Housing Coalition fosters the development of housing for various special needs populations, including: the elderly, certain veterans returning from service abroad, young people aging out of the foster care system, persons with a disability, those at risk or suffering from homelessness, ex-offenders, and others. 


    Mental Health Disabilities: The Florida Council for Community Mental Health

    Florida Council for Community Mental Health is a statewide association of 70 community-based mental health agencies. The clients served by member agencies are adults with serious and persistent mental illness, children with severe emotional disturbance, adults with long-term addictions, and children who are drug users or at risk of abusing drugs. They provide a range of services, including emergency services, residential treatment, outpatient services and rehabilitation and support services.  Visit their web site to find the agency in your community: www.fccmh.org
