Professionals in virtually every industry are talking about going green.  “Green” is a term used to describe environmentally sustainable and healthy practices, on both a large-scale societal level, and a personal level.  Green building involves the elements of home construction and design that have a minimal impact on the environment and promote the health of residents.  In addition to environmental sustainability, resource preservation, and health benefits, green building can also be cost-effective for residents, property managers, and developers.
