11/4/2004  Fitch Affirms A Rating for Guarantee Fund
Tallahassee — Fitch Ratings has affirmed the Guarantee Fund’s financial strength rating at ‘A,’ stating that the rating reflects the low current risk-to-capital ratio, adequate board-determined reserve requirement, high asset quality and liquidity of guarantee fund investments, as well as the fund’s ability to draw on future documentary stamp taxes deposited monthly to the State Housing Trust Fund, as required by Florida law. 10/27/2004  Florida Housing Awards $1.5 Million Toward Emergency Farmworker Housing
Tallahassee — Florida Housing’s Board of Directors recently approved $1.5 million in disaster relief funding toward the construction of Live Oak Villas in Ft. Pierce, Florida. This funding will help increase the targeted set aside for farmworker households at this property from the current 40 percent (42 unit) minimum to 60 percent (63 units). Tallahassee — Governor Jeb Bush has appointed David E. Oellerich, 49, of Tampa, general commercial contractor with Mathews Construction, to Florida Housing’s Board of Directors.
